About Me

My photo
Jim Stranz
Buffalo, NY, United States
I have been in education for the last 20+ years in the field of networking and telecommunications technologies. For the last 10 years my duties have been split between teaching and acting as department chair and program coordinator for several academic programs. Currently I am the program coordinator for the Cisco Networking Academy and the Verizon Next Step programs at Erie Community College (ECC) in Buffalo, NY. Some of my duties include recruiting and marketing, advisement and registration, hiring and mentoring adjunct faculty, and of course, teaching. Currently, I am responsible for providing assistance to over 180 students and faculty who are a part of the two programs. On a personal note, I love my job!
